In this final issue for 2014, we reflect on the eventful year that has been 2014. Big kudos to the CHAINZ team who have put in many hours between 2013-2014 to create an excellent roster of Mandarin-speaking doctors and allied health professionals who have enlightened our Chinese viewers on WTV by talking about a myriad of health topics from a Western medicine perspective. A big thank-you to these dedicated professionals who took time out of their busy lives to serve the community. We have also re-introduced the Cultural Talks back into CME sessions after a short hiatus and this kicked off with the Dr Allen Liang's daughter, filmmaker Roseanne Liang, talking about the trials and tribulations of making films. We also interview the wonderful Dr Peggy Chen, a dermatology registrar who dispels the many myths that are held about the fascinating world of skin. Lastly, no newsletter is complete with a review of local eateries, an update on our first social event of the year, and finally, the ACMA Public Doctor's list.

This is our first combined ACMA/YACMA Social Event ever and we are kicking it off with a Family Picnic Day in Cornwall Park. You are welcome to bring spouses/partners and children. Food and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided but feel free to bring a plate. If it is raining we will let you know via our member's newsletter of an alternative venue. We hope to see you there!
