ACMA’s May Social Event

We are excited to announce our upcoming social event: a pub quiz hosted by UpsideDowns! Join us for a night of fun and prizes, with proceeds going towards a charitable cause.

ACMA will be subsidizing tickets for the first eight members who sign-up.

Tickets are $28.60pp. We will be allocating groups of 4-8 on the night.

Visit to the Wallace Arts Trust at the Pah Homestead

ACMA’s October social event will be a visit to the Wallace Arts Trust at the Pah Homestead. This will include a tour of the art exhibition and a walk of the sculpture trail.

This will be on Sunday 10th October, time TBA.

ACMA will be providing drinks, refreshments and providing the entry fees.

Clued up: Jack the Ripper!

Our Autumn Social Event will be on April 3rd 2021, with at least two ACMA/YACMA teams competing in GeoGames’ outdoor murder-mystery adventure!!

This will be an outdoor escape game held across Auckland CBD, using their app to virtually solve the murder mystery of a new Ripper in town.

ACMA Walks the Mt Eden Boardwalk

ACMA welcomes members and family to the first social event of the 2020/21 calendar.

Mt Eden has been revamped, with a stunning new boardwalk, from the base to the summit.

Join us with family for a walk, at 10AM on Sunday 29 November 2020! Bring a picnic, or lunch at the café. ACMA will provide water and light refreshments.

We will meet at the new Mt Eden Visitor Experience Centre, an interactive experience that tells the story of Maungawhau / Mt Eden. The Centre explores the history of the region, including through the use of augmented reality.

This event is free for all ACMA and family members.

Hello YACMA members!

YACMA is excited to announce that the 2020 YACMA AGM is happening at Paradise BBQ Garden Restaurant!

This event is FREE for members - and $28 for non-members. Come along and enjoy an amazing Korean BBQ with fellow YACMA members! Voting for 2021 YACMA executive positions will also take place at this event.

Spots are limited - spaces are on a first-come-first-served basis, so get in quick!

Have you been to Gibbs Farm before? It is a remote place near Kaukapakapa and YACMA is organising a day out to see their annual art display on Friday 23 October - you and your friends and family are invited!

Spaces are limited and will fill fast - deadline for sign-ups is Monday 19 October. Anyone who wishes to sign up after the deadline will have to do so individually by visiting the Gibbs Farm website.

Winter Social Night - ACMA Mahjong

This year we will be spending our winter social event playing Mahjong for the evening. Come along whether you have no idea what Mahjong is or if you are a seasoned veteran, for a night for fun and games. This event is free for all ACMA and YACMA members and family. 

For the summer social event, ACMA members are invited on a gentle 2km walking tour of the latest sculpture art at the Auckland Botanical Gardens. This will be followed by afternoon tea in Miko Cafe.
